The 2011 Census data has been linked in to the ONS LS  and Beta Testing is almost complete. Subject to a successful finish, it is likely that the new dataset will be available to researchers from 25th November.

A provisional, revised, Data Dictionary is available for download in zipped form. (Microsoft Access required)

Researchers wishing to use 2011 Census data in an active ONS LS project:

You will need to complete a new Customer Request Form but the content can be very similar to your previous application – just add indications of the purpose and extent of your use of 2011 Census data. You do not need to re-apply for Approved Researcher status for this project.
