SLS & NCRM Pathways Workshop and Training Events

Longitudinal Studies Centre Scotland and NCRM Pathways will be holding a pair of events on Friday 5th June in Edinburgh.

The morning will comprise a training seminar for the Scottish Longitudinal Study, introducing the SLS and the types of research it can be used for. Details of how to access the SLS and procedures for requesting linked NHS data will be given, along with information on future developments.

The afternoon session will be a joint NCRM/LSCS workshop presenting results of research projects that exploit the richness of the ONS LS and the SLS, with a focus on ‘Social disadvantage, child health and attainment’. Methodological aspects arising from analysing record linkage studies will also be discussed.

Delegates are free to book for just one or both morning and afternoon events. Lunch will be provided for those attending BOTH events.
