NILS Research Forum Guest Seminar: Professor Thomas Cooke (University of Connecticut): “Migration and Union Dissolution”
Professor Cooke is a population and urban geographer in the Department of Geography at the University of Connecticut. His research focuses on the migration decline within the United States, the spatial distribution of metropolitan poverty, and the family dimension of migration behaviour. In recognition of his work, he recently received the Research Excellence Award from the Population Specialty Group of the Association of American Geographers. He is currently an Editor of Urban Geography, and is on the editorial boards of the Annals of the Association of American Geographers and Population, Space & Place.
